HISTORY

Syracuse Signage Inc. was founded in 1989 when it was split from its parent company, Penn Advertising. Penn Advertising is primarily a regional outdoor advertising company which operated a local commercial sign division in Syracuse, NY. When the company decided to dissolve the commercial sign division, the New York Regional Manager for Penn Advertising, Richard Hubeny, took the opportunity to purchase the assets and to build the small sign division into a thriving business.

Syracuse Signage Inc. began with a strong core of three employees at the time of its formation, and has tripled in size to nine employees since then. Our service department maintains two crane trucks, one bucket truck, one utility vehicle, and a flatbed trailer. The art department prepares a variety of custom signs that include ADA compliant signs, computer cut vinyl, hand painted graphics, large format digital printing, sandblasting, routing, fluorescent boxes, and a variety of hand made miscellaneous items. Our steady growth since 1989 has been a direct result of a strong commitment to the customer. We believe that professional service before and after the sale is what keeps our customers coming back to us time and time again.
